Masks….don’t you just love ’em? There’s something about a mask that just brings out the holy crap wild in a person. Now Superhero masks (aka Batman) are hot without exception…try to come up with one that isn’t (and despite what Edna Mode says….capes make the Superhero). Halloween masks are awesome too…let you be anyone you wanna be AND you can scare the bejesus out of peeps. Score! All that’s good, but the best kind of mask is the sexiest kind…the masquerade kind. Something about a masquerade just screams sex (with the mask on please) and you picture lace and pearls and long silky dresses with feathers. A ballroom filled with candles, a string quartet discreetly positioned behind curtains and beautiful people doing the waltz. I went to a masquerade ball recently…I’d tell you where…but then I’d have ta kill you…….really.
The string quartet must have been getting busy behind the curtains cause instead of a ballroom filled with classical music there was BuckCherry’s “Crazy Bitch” and Jace Everett’s “I wanna do bad things with you” ….and discreet was optional :). There were beautiful people there dancing up close and personal and the ballroom had a fabulous mixture of mystery and elegance and decadence…..excellent combo. Then, like all good parties…there’s that guy who drinks too much and starts doing the Time Warp…..classy ass shit, that one 🙂
