It happens…no one’s immune… everyone who’s ever gone in public with small ones knows. You’re in the grocery with 2 or more spawn…you think you got this. You don’t. One starts zooming ahead of you, one’s lagging behind, one’s putting something up her nose, one’s pulling God knows what off the shelf and throwing it into the basket. You look for the quiet one and see that his face is covered in chocolate (hopefully). You then notice that you have lost a child…maybe 2…and you hear suspicious giggling one aisle over. People stare. Some judge, some empathize, employees get on the intercom and ask Mommy to please come collect their offspring. You decide that everybody’s going on grocery store probation (that was actually the managers idea). Another day in paradise. ❤
