Home for the Holidays

I am back home, spending the holidays with my family and trying to subdue glorious amounts of chaos (this usually involves glorious amounts of adult beverages), baking, eating, more baking, more eating …you get it. So, officially LeLUTKA’s 12 Days of Christmas are over, the platforms that had the heads are closed (I checked this morning) and I assume the new heads will now be put in the store at full price. Some of the skins and such may still be out at their respective stores, but it’s a crap shoot.

Just as I was thinking “Dammit, why didn’t Lara Hurley participate in the 12 days”, she sends a notice out in the store group that she made a skin for the Noel head, called it Noel, and put it out for half price. As she is , without a doubt, one of my very favorite skin creators, I couldn’t get there fast enough. Noel comes in 5 tones specific to Lara Hurley and 6 Velour tones….with the darkest being sunkiss. I usually wear the (Lara Hurley)medium shade with my Cia skin (which is my everyday actual Roxi look skin) but I tried all the demo’s and really liked the Dark tone with Noel. It was a bit of a tough call because I really liked all the tones, but I wound up with both the Dark tone and Velours Chantilly tone. They’re on sale right now for half price, so I only paid L399 for each. There’s also some lipsticks and eyeshadows right below the skin ad made specifically for Noel…and stupid cheap. I like the lips on the skin too much to add anything to them, but I am wearing the #2 eyeshadow and the eyeliner and freckles that come with the skin. I don’t know how long Noel will be on sale, but surely for a bit. ❤
