Yesterday was Meatloaf’s 65th birthday and being a fan, I thought I would pay tribute to my favorite Meatloaf song.  I was tempted (for more than a few minutes too) to bring in the M&M’s and do a picture (you know you love that commercial)…maybe have Blue singing to Green onstage all Meatloaf like or do a Beauty and the Beast scene like the video. I think Blue probably has a sense of humor and would have been okay drenched in sweat and wearing a long stringy wig for the pic.  In the end I went for paying homage to the awesome art used in the single’s picture (M&M’s would have been easier!).  I’m feeling pretty confident that Meatloaf’s people will not be coming after me screaming copyright infringement (the original cover art is is by Michael Whelan, entitled “LeaveTaking) as I only used a small part to make my picture…check out the original artwork and you’ll see which part  🙂
