Lastly…you know how you’re scrolling through FB or Flick’r and you see a designer is offering something and you just have to like/say your name in the comments/ and share? I used to do it all the time, but honestly…not a fan of it coming back at me 2 and 3 years later as a memory…and of course I’m never one of the ones that won. That being said, when I really love something, I still take a chance, cause if you don’t take a chance you 100% will not get anything. So, about 2 weeks-ish ago, Gio Warblood (half of the RAWR! team) took to FB to say he woke up in a good mood and wanted to share it…so he was giving away whatever LeLUTKA head you put in the comments….crazy right!?!?…and I think he said he’d give away like 20 heads!! Who passes up that chance?? Not me. I couldn’t type in Xia fast enough and wouldn’t you know it, that evening he listed the winners, saying he’s sent the heads out, and there’s my name. Problem was I happened to be on a cruise ship in Alaska and couldn’t access SL (and yeah I tried…even the mobile apps). WiFi and phone service in general was spotty way up there in Skagway, I didn’t have my laptop with me (cause, ya know, vacay and all) and Princess wasn’t keen on me downloading it on one of theirs in the Internet café (rude)…so I had to cross my fingers and play the wait game (and pray that SL didn’t eat it). I kinda think I knew it would be okay the night I walked past the roulette table in the casino and saw that the dealer was starting to close the bets and spin…and nobody had a chip on 19 (my lucky number). I put 20 on it at the last minute and figured so what…it’s just 20 bucks….till it was $720 bucks…I took my payout and left, since A) I’m not stupid and B) I’m honestly not a gambler and I was already deciding what I was going to spend that money on (did you know that when you’re on a cruise they have sales on future cruises…like some were half price!…so yeah…cruising to Hawaii in September ❤ ) True enough, my luck was holding and my Xia head was in my recents when I logged back in yesterday….isn’t she gorgeous!? Thank you Gio!!!!!
